TrustChange SARL operates the website and the application, and is the customer's sole contracting party: any commitment made in the name of "TrustChange Pay" is made by TrustChange SARL.
2. Regulatory status
TrustChange SARL is a technical service and software provider. It is neither a credit institution nor a payment institution licensed by COBAC or BEAC, and it does not issue electronic money. It is not a bank.
Mobile Money transactions (collections and payouts) are executed by the operators and licensed aggregators of their respective countries; their name is not disclosed to the customer, who deals only with the operator of its choice. The TrustChange wallet is an internal electronic wallet denominated in CFA francs: it is neither a bank deposit nor a bank account. The "TC…" reference shown in it is an internal identifier for transfers between users, not a bank IBAN.
Crypto assets are not legal tender and are not backed by any State. In its buy and sell operations, TrustChange SARL acts as the counterparty: the price displayed is the price at which it buys or sells the asset, and it changes continuously. The risk of capital loss is borne by the customer.
TrustChange voluntarily applies an anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing policy, described in the AML/CFT policy, under the authority of a compliance officer appointed by Management.
